The Revenue Cycle Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Revenue Cycle functions. These functions could include coding, billing and claims management, insurance follow-up processes, customer service, cash posting, self-pay, financial counseling, pre-certification, and patient access for UC Health. Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, with a focus on prior authorizations, claims auditing, and payer behavior analysis.
Hands-on experience in lab billing strongly preferred

Develops processes and programs for the Revenue Cycle team and partners with teams to ensure goals and objectives are properly defined and clearly established.

About the Role

The Revenue Cycle Manager will report to the Head of Clinical Operations. You will be responsible for working across diverse stakeholders to help drive the direction of Remo’s growth from contracting & credentialing through billing & collections. Given the nuances of our care model and the patient populations Remo serves, this role is a unique opportunity for someone with:

Expertise across payor contracting: research of new payors, contract application, contract and rate negotiation, follow-up procedures, contract resubmissions
Support LC&E: provider credentialing, CAQH maintenance, credentialing, re-credentialing, etc.
Deep experience creating and managing the end-to-end RCM process: insurance eligibility, claims submission, payor follow-up, appeals and resubmissions, rejected claims, write-offs, etc.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage the end-to-end coding and billing process for all clinical services (requires a thorough understanding of systems, process, and service-specific telehealth coding and billing requirements)
Identify and execute on opportunities for revenue cycle improvement and revenue cycle transformation projects including documentation and coding (e.g. optimizing codes Remo is currently billing, and providing expertise in new codes to be considered under value-based and fee-for-service contracts)
Own reimbursement related issues, including contract/underpayment and denial management
Own Remo billing compliance, policies, procedures, and ensuring adherence and ongoing internal audit of billing compliance, policies, and procedures.
Develop SOP’s and provide training to clinical staff as required.
Provide leadership to the revenue cycle management team and build out standard reporting for contracting & credentialing and revenue cycle management KPIs.

Partner with the Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to continue to introduce automation to our claims billing processes across value based and fee for service contracts as well as identify and fix any billing issues that arise.

You May Be a Good Fit if You

Have at least 2 years RCM experience in a remote, telehealth practice.
Have at least 5-7 years of experience in healthcare provider revenue cycle management leading RCM teams.
Have at least 3-5 years of experience leading RCM with both CMS (Medicare, MA, and Medicaid) and commercial payers
Have experience creating, building and implementing systems from scratch.

Join our team as a Revenue Cycle Specialist with our Respite Program in La Crosse, WI!

BASIC PURPOSE: Reporting to the Program Coordinator (Respite), the Revenue Cycle Specialist - Respite is responsible for performing a range of functions within the Respite Program, in order to maximize reimbursement for the services that FCC provides while supporting agency financial goals.

This position typically starts at the mid wage range which can vary based on education and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prioritize and complete work assignments within established productivity/quality metrics. Utilize FCC’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) to coordinate revenue cycle operations with program/clinical needs.
Use essential thinking skills in order to identify opportunities for operational improvement, standardization; recommends and implements effective changes to workflow.
Counsels and assists clients and providers, as well as internal FCC staff, with billing concerns and/or questions in order to improve payment turnaround time and maximize reimbursement. Work closely with the Program Coordinator (Respite) and Case Managers to assure billing issues are corrected timely.
Maintain regular communication with Supervisor and other Respite staff to ensure he/she is properly informed of updates, concerns and staff issues.
Perform other duties as deemed necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position or as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ENVIRONMENT:

Education, Training and Work Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent, relevant experience in finance, collections, customer service, insurance and/or health care environment is preferred. Ability to multi-task and quickly change focus in a fast-paced work environment that utilizes multiple technology platforms. Strong planning and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Detail oriented, focused, organized, takes initiative. Works well in a team setting. Experience handling difficult situations with customers. Job Summary

The Revenue Cycle Specialist (RCS) is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations within the Billing Department. The position will be task oriented with assignments provided by the Senior Manager of RCM. Tasks to include submission of corrected claims, reviewing mail specific to billing with follow up on actions needed along with additional task needed to support the Billing Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean, review, and submit claims for behavioral health providers (specifically autism providers)

• Track claim statuses and remittances

• Work denials and follow up with unpaid claims proactively

• Manage patient responsibility invoices (e.g., patient co-insurance, co-pays)

• Evaluate insurance operations and identify efficiency improvements

• Analyze EOBs and post manual payments

• Submit and follow up on Commercial and Medicaid, primary and secondary insurances

• Communicate to administrative team for errors and corrections

Work and manage claims from all aging buckets including posting and appeals,

including resubmission of claims and appropriate adjustments.

• Input and review billing data for accuracy, including data entry.

• Ensure that billing and collections adhere to all compliance policies and procedures.

• Work with Billing Manager and local clinic team members to ensure accurate billing.

• Follows up on claim resolution from initial billing through final resolution including

identifying and correcting billing errors/rejections and denials (denial management investigations

& appeals).

• Manage claims submission and AR for assigned clinics.

• Process remittance advices/EOB’s to achieve finalized clean claims for payment including researching and correcting denials (Pull EFT back-ups).

• Post and reconcile payments received using system and deposit reports. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School or degree in Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field (preferred, but not required).

• 1 year experience in Healthcare within revenue cycle management or medical billing function, preferred but not required.

• 1 to 3+ years of experience working as an Administrative Assistance

• Experience in a high growth and fast paced environments
