Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Will use his or her best efforts to promote the Company’s products and maximize the sale of the products in the Territory.
Present the Company’s products in a clear, understandable and professional manner.
Provide reasonable assistance to Company in promotional activities in the Territory such as trade shows, product presentations, sales calls and other activities of Company with respect to the products.
Must adhere to management-defined KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for efficient and proactive account management and/or key account management within designated territories. Will also engage in identifying and harvesting new business opportunities within designated territories.
Provide reasonable "after sale" support to product purchasers and generally perform such sales related activities as are reasonable to promote the products and the goodwill of Company in the Territory, in the line with the business the Company is in.
Report weekly to the Company concerning sales of the Products and competitive promotional advertising and other pricing activities and devote adequate time and effort to perform their obligations.
Neither advertise the products outside the Territory nor solicit sales from purchasers located outside the Territory without the prior written consent of the Company.
Solicitations and/or purchases will be conducted in accordance with such terms, conditions and prices the Company may specify from time to time. All purchase orders or sales orders are subject to Company’s approval.
Will not disparage, denigrate or make negative comments regarding another manufacturer or competitors’ product.
Will ensure Company CRM and data base are maintained and fully up to date in accordance with Company Performance Matrix, which the Company reserves the right to change in line with their business strategy.
Be a point of contact for any product related queries which includes any product complaints
Manage proactive relationships with all wholesalers and pharmacy buying groups
Manage relationships and product supply through the 4PL partner and provide support to ensure product is supplied on time to pharmacies

Qualifications

Educational qualification: A Pharma Industry Professional with Management qualification preferred

Business Focus

The role is centered on the retail pharmacy channel, however it may involve engagements with Pharmac on a regular basis
Emphasis on consumer products, especially OTC (Over-the-Counter) goods.
Candidate must have existing relationships with pharmacies and buying groups.

Therapies Area

Focus on consumer health and OTC therapies.
Experience in generic portfolios and Pharmacy negotiations is a plus but not mandatory.

Candidate Profile

Must be hands-on, capable of managing operations independently.
Ideal background includes:
Experience in OTC or consumer goods within pharmacy networks.
Familiarity with New Zealand’s North Island, especially Auckland and surrounding areas

Skills & Attributes:

Good knowledge about customers and territory.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Good collaboration skills and works effectively as part of a team.

Branded generics is one of our biggest businesses in Emerging market and our branded products are available 48 countries across 5 regions. Our key markets are Russia, China and Brazil. We also have presence in Latin America, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), CIS and Romania. We have added 13 new geographies in the last 5 years.
In the last 4 years, our emerging markets business’ growth rate has doubled (June ’22). Our diverse portfolio spans all segments. We are continuously advancing technologies, enhancing efficiency of operations and increasing our portfolio of highest-quality quality products.
With nearly 40 products and 6 mega brands, Russia is a key market. With more than 30 years of operations in the region, as of FY22, we have reported a year-on-year growth of 32%. This was driven by improved existing business performance, launch of new products during the year along with divestment of some non-core brands. 6 key products were ranked among the top 200 bestselling formulation brands, as per IQVIA in its report for the 12-month period ended 31 March, 2022. 5 of our leading products were voted as the ’Product of the Year’ by the consumers – reaffirming the trust that the people of Russia have in them.
We are among the earliest Indian pharma companies to have a business presence in China. We have a representative office that focuses on filings and approvals, including the Group Purchasing Organisation (GPO). Our joint venture entity (Kunshan Rotam Reddy Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd) offers a portfolio of niche and essential products, strengthening our presence in China.
In Latin America we have a strong presence in Brazil and Colombia. In just a little over five years in Brazil, our team has established itself in the region with our diverse portfolio. Our primary focus in Brazil is oncology and institutional. Our team in Colombia was certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’.
Through our comprehensive COVID-19 portfolio, we were able to reach over 5 million patients in low and middle-income countries.
