We are hiring our first Salesforce Administrator to join the Commercial team at Virta. This is a foundational role that will establish a center of excellence for Salesforce administration within our go-to-market organization. You will partner closely with our Product Development team to empower the Commercial team to more effectively manage workflows, data, and reporting. Responsibilities

Configuration & Administration
- Own day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce instance for the Commercial team.

Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Development’s Salesforce team to ensure scalable, secure, and aligned platform governance.
- Partner with Sales, Enterprise Marketing (including HubSpot users), and Operations stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into system capabilities.
Data Management & Reporting
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Commercial Salesforce data through monitoring, deduplication, and maintenance routines.
- Enable Commercial teams to access and utilize real-time data through reports, dashboards, and best practices.
Enablement & Support
- Be the go-to resource for troubleshooting, support, and training for Commercial Salesforce users.
- Create documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for internal use.
Strategic Systems Ownership
- Drive the roadmap for Commercial team Salesforce usage and future evolution of our GTM systems strategy with cross-functional input.
- Operate with a builder’s mindset—taking ownership of near-term updates while recognizing the need to design the system for long-term growth.

90 Day Plan

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

Gain deep familiarity with Virta’s Salesforce instance and its current Commercial workflows.
Establish strong working relationships with key Commercial and Product Development stakeholders.

Must-Haves

5–10 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a focus on B2B go-to-market teams.

Proficiency with declarative Salesforce configuration (Flows, Validation Rules, Page Layouts, Custom Objects).
Experience working at a fast-paced startup and/or growth company where rapid growth requires ongoing Salesforce evolution to support GTM strategy and workflows.
Ability to work autonomously and own a roadmap, balancing near-term needs across multiple teams with longer-term priorities.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Admin to join our team in managing and optimizing our Salesforce and CPQ platform within the Nitro organization.

What you'll be doing:

Ability to collaborate with senior leaders to design a long-term Business-Technology roadmap for our Salesforce instance.

Salesforce Administrator Requirements:

About the Role

About the Role
As a Salesforce Administrator, you will play a vital role at Athelas + Commure. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our integrated Salesforce platform by transforming user requirements to technical requirements, designing best practice solutions, and optimizing based on feedback. This role will be responsible for advanced Salesforce administration, including customization, third-party integrations, and process automation, to meet evolving business needs. You will be responsible for:

All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
Working with integrated applications including Hubspot, Salesforce Data Cloud, Linkedin Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6Sense* and GTM Automation Tools (Ringlead or Clay for example)
Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
Designing a sleek UX experience, preferably through screen flows, to automate requests and approvals flows to trigger opportunity progression
Technical build of traditional Opportunity stage gates, validation rules, dependent fields to ensure that front-end reporting can measure key metrics like average order value, stage duration, conversion rates, etc.
Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with key stakeholders
Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
User support tickets support
New user and ongoing user training

A successful applicant will fit the following criteria:

4+ years of proven work experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role
STRONG understanding of an ERD and how it applies to custom and standard object for cross-object consistency for reporting both in SFDC and BI (Tableau) across key go-to-market fields
Understand of Salesforce Data Cloud and how this can be applied to support a true B2B data model
Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification

Summary

The Salesforce Administrator II role is responsible for providing advanced technical and strategic support to the Salesforce Administration team in the day-to-day management and support of the CRM platform. In addition to performing administrative and support functions, the Salesforce Administrator II is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements, managing data integrity and security, and providing technical leadership to the Salesforce Administration team. Responsibilities

General

Develop and build out enterprise-wide Salesforce platform with vision to create a database that is a true corporate asset that is established, managed and ultimately grows.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that encourages productive interactions with customers, co-workers and supervisors.

Administration

Collaborate with Access Management to create, edit, freeze and deactivate users.
Proactively engage with internal customers to understand their business needs and deliver high-quality CRM support in a timely manner.
Manage and work the CRM support queue by promptly triaging cases, answering end-user questions, fulfilling requests, and resolving system incidents in a timely and customer centric manner.
Leverage available documentation, training, and vendor support teams to administer third-party applications and nCino.

Continuous Improvement

Work with stakeholders to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage customer data to support additional business processes or functions.
Work closely with stakeholders, sales groups, and technical teams to define and develop strategies for improving and enhancing the existing data infrastructure across different business units in the organization.

Change Management and Adoption

Implement and drive user adoption of new Salesforce features and product enhancements.
Communicate regularly with product owners regarding system changes, new features, and enhancements.
Keep abreast of new Salesforce & nCino features and functionality. Appropriately utilize this training to provide recommendations for process improvements.
Assist in the planning, testing, and implementation of major nCino and Salesforce releases.

Technical Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage advanced Salesforce and nCino solutions to meet business requirements.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in Salesforce.
Manage Salesforce integrations with third-party applications.
Develop and manage reports and dashboards to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Salesforce Operations team members.

Compensation & Benefits

The Salesforce Admin II position pays a minimum of $90,000.

Education & Experience

Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in accounting, business administration, computer science, or related field required.
3 or more years of Salesforce administration experience.
Strong interdisciplinary IT skills and familiarity with IT Service Management and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize workload, gather and analyze detailed information, think logically and in a process-oriented fashion.
Strong research, troubleshooting, and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on multiple projects.
Ensure work premises constitutes a safe work environment that promotes positive bank image, including regular inspection for and remediation of any hazardous conditions; regular maintenance and cleaning of premises; adherence to all posting requirements in jurisdiction, including human resources and compliance postings; and provision of comfortable and appropriate space for associates to conduct banking business.
Maintains client information in complete confidence.
Completes other specified duties as assigned.
Regular attendance required, working at the assigned worksite, or assigned remote location during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.

Physical Requirements

The work environment is typical of a standard office or retail banking setting. The position is sedentary, involving sitting most of the workday; however, the position will involve moving about the workspace to reach entrances/exits, restrooms, conference rooms, or other areas within the work environment. Reaching may be required involving the ability to move arms in any direction. Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone, will be used requiring the ability to manipulate a keyboard, mouse, and/or keypad. The ability to decipher a computer screen or written documents is necessary. The ability to express or exchange ideas; impart information to clients, coworkers, or the public; or to convey detailed or important instructions; is required.
