About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Manager (RM) in ABL and Factoring who is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients who utilize asset-based lending and factoring solutions. Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional with broad impact and handle portfolio of accounts and regular portfolio reviews to manage risk and lead problem loan resolutions, where applicable
Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, functional partners, and middle to senior level managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives
Make decisions and resolve complex, multi-faceted issues and lead a team to meet a given product’s or specialty’s objectives while leveraging a sound understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet business objectives and drive new initiatives
Partner with product management functional partners to provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on evolving market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively, including large-scale, cross-functional, or companywide strategies
Be a key participant in large-scale planning related to a given product or specialty’s business objectives
Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

We are seeking a Commercial Banking Specialist II that will work with assigned Relationship Managers (RMs) in the Commercial and Business segments. This position provides sales, administrative, loan, deposit and other relevant support to the RMs. This position also provides primary support for the RM’s clients.

The Commercial Banking Specialist understands the overall commercial workflow and processes and works effectively with relevant Bank Partners to resolve client issues and provide a high level of service.

Key Accountabilities

Assists with Loan Process

Collaborates with RMs in contacting clients to gather items needed to prepare a complete application for submission (financials, purchase agreements, invoices, etc.).
Prepares loan requests utilizing required forms or the Commercial Online Application (CML) software. Submits applications to the Loan Fulfillment team for further input and processing.
Reviews and manages open applications in LOS for assigned RMs.
During the underwriting and pre-closing phase, collaborates with Underwriting teams and Loan Fulfillment to obtain any missing client information (financials, entity documentation, signers, etc.).

Minimum of one to three years of experience as a Loan Assistant in a financial institution lending department

Knowledge of lending policies and procedures is essential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Obtains information related to the loan origination process including ordering credit reports, appraisals, preliminary title reports, insurance information, flood certificates, Secretary of State searches and various other items.

Provide customer support, execute daily loan transactions, and handle other general administrative duties.
\n
\n
Assists in the preparation of disbursement worksheets, loan documentation checklists, and other communications necessary to properly document the loan files while adhering to bank policies and procedures.

Ensures that all loan documentation and customer information is scanned into the core system in a timely manner.
\n
\n
Ensures that all liens, including deeds of trust and notice of liens are filed in a timely matter to protect the Banks lien on collateral.
\n
\n
Receives exception tracking report and ensures that outstanding issues regarding title policies, vehicle titles, appraisals, construction inspections, etc. are properly received, documented and cleared from the report.

\n
Acts as liaison between loan officers and loan documentation and loan operations department.
\n
\n
Plays an important role in customer relationship management, loan origination processes, credit risk management and compliance.

Prepare, manage and monitor loan requests in accordance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Manage own professional improvement through the utilization of the Quarterly Job Progress Plan.
