PURPOSE
This position is responsible for all aspects of store operations, which include providing an exceptional shopping experience to every customer through established company guidelines concerning sales, customer service, and associate education. Ensures the store is a safe workplace and provided a safe shopping experience, while maximizing company profitability by managing the store operations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations
Demonstrated ability to read and review a profit and loss statement to identify areas of improvement
Demonstrated ability to utilize computer and point of sale systems to maintain accurate inventory and manage the cycle count process
Maintain inventory integrity by supervising the cycle count and inventory counting processes
Assist the General Manager in handling store level human resources or loss prevention issues as necessary

Handle claims and other KCM/MOD duties as needed
Ensure maximum scheduling coverage especially during peak traffic periods
Interface with corporate headquarters employees

Administrative
Record-keeping and reporting of inventory, HR related matters and cash office records
Ensure web orders are shipped out including samples (e-commerce)
Manage checkbook for P&L and assist the CEM with operational budget/spending and adherence
Assist the stales team with resets, displays and display credits (merchandising)
Administer W/C matters and associated claims and maintains OSHA logs in coordination with the Store Support Center

Warehouse/Logistics
Direct/supervise truck appointments, communicate scheduling and manage scheduling issues (logistics)
Assist with customer pick-ups, auditing storage and maintaining pre-sales/FDX
Involved in sales reset in accordance with warehouse team (pack-out/overnight)

Management
Review and assess the performance of associates on a timely basis
Train, develop, supervise and define workload associates
Ensure store adheres to COP/SOPs
Manage direct reports to ensure performance
Monitor associate retention and career development; communicate ideas to General Manager
Address and document unsatisfactory performance and policy violations of associates through administration of disciplinary action and performance counseling
Ensure compliance to scheduling, hiring, payroll and business planning processes
Monitor, maintain and follow company policies; support company expectations and systems

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years retail management experience and proven ability direct operations

Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, coordination and quality assurance of program enabling and support functions including finance, administration, human resources management, IT support, risk management and security

Qualifications

Your Role at Raising Cane’s:

The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in leading operational excellence of the restaurant and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture in all areas of restaurant operations.

The physical work environment includes working in a fast-paced kitchen environment (which requires extended periods of physical exertion, such as walking, standing, lifting and bending) and interacting with customers. Purpose of the position:

Come and join us at Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) as an Operations Manager.

As an Operations Manager you’ll work closely with industry and internal teams and be accountable for managing delivery, planning, and providing the required support. YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an Warehouse Supervisor for our contract logistics operations in Zaandam. The site stores and distributes car parts for 14 different car brands including premium brands. The inventory exists of bolts, engines, tires, body shop parts and much more. It is our daily and long-term goal to make sure that, with our team, we store these different sizes of items the best way we can, and make sure that it will be delivered within the agreed time frames with our customers. For us it's important that we always make sure that we deliver on time, deliver the highest quality with satisfied employees.

As an Warehouse Supervisor you ensure that both internal and external customer KPI expectations are met or exceeded. You will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and distribution processes for our customers Stellantis & You and Distrigo. You distribute, coordinate and monitor the daily and weekly activities of your team by adapting the human and material resources for optimal productivity and profitability, while ensuring service, quality and health and safety standards.

You will work closely together with colleagues form our two other sites in Hoogeveen and Waalwijk. In the position of Warehouse Supervisor, you report directly to the Site Manager, who is responsible for all three sites in Waalwijk, Hoogeveen and Zaandam.

You will be responsible for:

Summary Manages all activities related to operations and development of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Provides input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products.
Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What this job involves:

As the Operations Manager at One Exchange Square (scheduled for completion in Q1 2026), you will be at the heart of ensuring seamless operational services for this office of the future. Key Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, storage, inventory management, and outbound freight
Ensure timely and accurate order documentation (e.g., pick lists, hazardous material manifests)
Provide excellent service to walk-in customers by maintaining a responsive and professional warehouse environment
Partner with Inventory Control and Regulatory teams to ensure accurate inventory and compliance with all storage and handling requirements
Conduct and support inventory cycle counts; manage on-hold products, QC bins, and system updates as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe distribution center; enforce all warehouse safety procedures
Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, keeping management informed of key actions and updates
Oversee regulatory compliance, including internal SOPs and third-party standards (e.g., SQF)
Maintain the proper storage and relationships of our Third Party Logistics (3PL) partners, optimizing the available space within the Distribution Center.
Execute and track preventative maintenance tasks on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Lead or support facility audits by customers or third-party inspectors
Support basic financial tasks such as accounts receivable, collections, and processing cash receipts
Collaborate on annual planning and improvement initiatives for the Distribution Center
Champion company policies and drive consistency across operations
Manage employee schedules and approve time-off requests to ensure operational coverage

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Prior experience in warehouse leadership roles with direct responsibility for team development, coaching, and performance management
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory workflows
- Familiarity with distribution environments and customer service expectations
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

- Education: Post-secondary education in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or a similar operational environment
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP software
- Knowledge of SQF compliance standards and audit processes
- Familiarity with lot-controlled inventory and product traceability
- Experience with Third Party Logistics (3PL) and relationship management
- Lean training and experience with root cause analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience managing direct reports, including conducting performance evaluations, giving constructive feedback, and fostering team development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example, set clear expectations, and build a positive, accountable team culture

Requirements

A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience is required working in a janitorial commercial cleaning services industry,
Prior floor experience preferred.

Prior experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask. Proven experience supervising housekeeping departments of 15+ employees.
Ability to maintain a budget.
Ability to sell additional services to clients.
Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision-making skills ability.
Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests, associates, and clientele, both inside and outside of the organization.
Activator/self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Must be willing to travel.
Floor work experience is a plus
Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus
Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.
