This job is a member of the Lending Solutions team within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for creating deeper member relationships using phone and email outreach and a needs based consultative approach to make the lending experience the best it can be for American Airlines Credit Union.

What You'Ll Do

Answer a high volume of calls in the Outbound Outreach Department
Collect data and documentation for loan applications in compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures and NCUA regulations
Input data in LINK loan origination system
Close and disburse loan funds
Cross sell additional loan products
Complete electronic documents
Process mail, faxes and emails
Execute Outbound calling assignments, as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

Job Responsibilities

Perform facility access control duties by checking in members and program participants entering the building. Ensure that membership card is presented or proper guest fee, if required, is paid.
Conduct interviews/tours to promote membership.
Assist members and customers courteously. Meet and greet members and visitors in a positive and professional manner as a representative of the YMCA.
Answer the telephone in a prompt, courteous manner.
Enter membership and program enrollment data into applicable technology systems/software, print receipts, and give receipts to members and program participants.
Ensure the security of the association enforcing policy regarding visitors and maintains visitors log.
Give membership and program information to walk in and phone in customers.
Assist Membership Director and perform miscellaneous tasks as directed and required.
Perform routine filing and posts all rosters.
Maintain clean and professional appearance for self and facility.
Promote and represent the mission and core values of the YMCA of Central Florida in the Family Center and its programs.

Requirements

High School Graduate or equivalent required.
One year of YMCA experience preferred.

Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities.

Description

The Westfield Area YMCA is looking for reliable, friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our Member Services department at our Westfield and Cranford locations! We offer a fun, positive and inclusive work environment.

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

Greeting members, guests and other staff at the Welcome Center with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Enrolling new members and assisting current members with any changes to membership/enrollment
Monitoring the security of the facility by ensuring adherence to all Y procedures and policies in regards to facility access and safety
Resolving member problems and concerns
Answering phones and directing calls, as necessary
Accurately processing payment for membership and program registration
Giving tours to prospective members, as instructed
Assisting with special events, as needed

Pay: Starts at $15.50 per hour, then $17.00-21.00 per hour after training requirements are met, depending on experience

Available Shifts: Opener: 4:45am - 9am weekdays, with potential to sub other shifts

Position Summary:

Primarily assists members in performing accurate transactions and providing account information. Assists in establishing memberships, share accounts and other deposit products by assessing member needs, completing necessary documents and performing data entry of records in compliance with audit requirements. Frequently serves as the initial point of contact between the Credit Union and members. Promotes optimal member engagement by providing specific, accurate and timely information regarding Credit Union products and services in addition to insurance and/or investment products offered through Wescom Insurance Services and Wescom Financial Services. Responsible for engaging new and existing members to deepen their relationship with the Credit Union by educating members about products and services and referring members for Mortgage and Home Equity products.

Essential Position Functions:

Follows cash control guidelines to safeguard the credit union and member assets.

Processes Member transactions accurately, including but not limited to deposits, transfers, withdrawals and other transactions in accordance with credit union policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Processes all transactions within assigned limits, maintains daily cash, and sells cash to the vault as needed so as not to exceed established limit. Adheres to accurate cash balancing procedures. Researches and resolves cash differences.

Consistently provides a high level of service and is committed to increasing member satisfaction by consistently, taking a consultative approach to all member interactions. Demonstrates adherence to the established Wescom and Branch Service Standards in addition to the enforcement and modeling of our Purpose, Mission, Visiont, Core Values and Team Attributes.

Promotes advocacy and takes personal responsibility to ensure member issues are handled properly at the first point of contact. Focuses on delivering the Member Experience and achieving successful results in the Member Experience Surveys.

Regularly serves members with Teller activities and occasional Platform activities by including but not limited to:

Remaining proficient and knowledgeable in all changing technologies available to members to create an omni-channel experience (e.g. mobile and online banking services)

Responds to inquiries from members, departments and Branch Management in a timely manner

Actively and consistently identifies Wescom product and service referral opportunities and works closely with branch business partners and specialists

Actively identifies, refers and assists members with auto/personal loan and credit card pre-approval offers

Provides occasional Platform support including loan application processing, new accounts, lobby management, file maintenance and card issuance activities

Consistently identifies, mitigates and reports potential fraudulent activity

Produces high quality, accurate work with minimal errors and oversights

Utilizes skills developed from the CON2ECT model focusing on building relationships and identifying member needs. Collaborates with business partners to actively refer members, including leveraging the appointment system, department liaisons, etc. The business partners would include but are not limited to Financial Services, Insurance Services, Real Estate and Autoland.

May participate in the servicing of coin and cash machines when required.

Occasionally processes applications for consumer loan products, including but not limited to auto loans, credit cards, and unsecured lines of credit. May also process applications for home equity loans and lines of credit. Serves as a member advocate throughout the loan process. Processes loans/lines of credit applications and provides basic credit review counseling for members with declined loans. Assists members with deposit products, including checking, savings, certificate accounts and Individual Retirement Accounts. Remains proficient with Fiduciary processes including but not limited to Trusts, Estates, Power of Attorneys and other Fiduciary accounts along with Notary Public services.

Meets personal development and training objectives. Achieves core curriculum and required training within establish timeline. Completes Wescom University core curriculum, including required regulatory training. Completes requirement to achieve Notary Public designation and possibly trains other employees with routine procedures when needed.

Could potentially pursue a career path opportunity to a Member Services Representative II if desired and if approved by Branch Management. Promotion would require successful completion of ALL the following courses and licensing:

Maintains proficiency in technology applications across all channels including the operating system and ancillary systems. Actively promotes and demonstrates technology to members. Contributes to organizational efforts with process improvement opportunities

Ensures branch compliance with audit and security standards, policies and procedures and loss prevention measures. Maintains confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

Protects the Credit Union’s financial interest by controlling and balancing their assigned cash drawer, negotiable items received and disbursed during daily transactions, identifying payees, verifying signatures and endorsements, and maintaining acceptable Teller Balancing Standards.

Communicates well both verbally and in writing, effectively shares information and ideas with others, and demonstrates good listening skills.

Must possess effective interpersonal skills in order to maintain positive and productive working relationships with others. Attends meetings with assigned groups as well as branch staff meetings. May participate with in-house training sessions, self-studies as well as outside seminars and classes.

Ensures individual appearance reflects the desired level of professionalism. Maintains the physical environment of the branch according to Wescom standards.

Maintains good attendance and punctuality in adherence with Wescom policy.

Education, Experience, Skills And Abilities:

High School Graduate.

Previous financial industry and customer service experience preferred.

About This Temp Position

We are looking for a Member Services Representative to join our team! This position will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk related activities including:
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
Check members into the system.
Take prospective members on tours.
Sign up new members calculating rates and monthly payment amounts.
Assist the Club Manager in counting out the drawer as needed.
• Facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Completing daily assigned within first hour of your shift.
Helping complete priority cleaning list each day.
Completing walk-around and bathroom checks periodically.
Helping complete any special cleaning projects as needed.

• Other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.

Qualifications
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.

Purpose

The Senior Member Services Representative must possess broad knowledge of all branch operational procedures and tools obtained through their work experience as well as a comprehensive understanding of all MSR responsibilities. They assist in training other employees in all MSR duties and act as a mentor to less experienced staff.

The Member / Provider Services Representatives (\"MSRs\" / \"PSRs\") are the front-line team at Capital BlueCross (\"CBC\") and are responsible for handling all customer inquiries through multiple channels (i.e., phone, web, electronic, and/or face-to-face) by using resources, materials and tools with accuracy and precision.
