As the Human Resources Business Partner Senior Manager for North American Manufacturing Operations, this strategic leadership role partners closely with the Director of Operations to design and implement comprehensive HR initiatives that drive operational excellence across nine manufacturing plants in North America with over 1100 members. Leading a diverse team of nine HR Business Partners and HRBP Supervisors, the position provides mentorship and fosters professional development across all experience levels. Essential Functions

Manage and lead a team of HR professionals, setting team goals, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring performance.
Strategic Business Partner to Manufacturing Leadership.
Lead and manage HR projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.

Description

As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, CTO, and SVP of Product, you will manage calendars, coordinate meetings, oversee logistics for company-wide events, and support multiple strategic initiatives. Summary Of The Role:

As Executive Assistant you'll be joining a fast-paced, high-growth team here at Capi; we are all about great talent with no egos - we’re all learning here! This role begins as maternity cover for our current team EA who supports our two founders, starting late December. Once she returns, our London team will have nearly doubled in size, and you’ll be one of two EAs supporting the executive office. You'll help to organise team events, coordinate international visitors (including visas and vaccinations) as well as management and administration of our London office. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to streamline operations and enhance productivity of a rapidly growing startup, directly impacting our global mission!

Key Responsibilities & Work-Streams You’Ll Own

Manage the diary of our CEO (company co-founder), who travels frequently, including scheduling meetings and arranging the travel (including booking flights, hotels, etc.)
Draft and manage correspondence and communications, as appropriate (email management)
Organise team events, helping to uphold and build out our international team culture, including company values

Responsibilities:

Calendar Management: Own the day-to-day scheduling for both co-founders, ensuring meetings are prioritized effectively, with a clear understanding of what to move and why.
Communication Management: Monitor and respond to emails and Slack messages on behalf of the co-founders, maintaining clear and timely communication across stakeholders.
Administrative Execution: Support with document organization, scheduling workflows, and ad hoc requests with speed and precision.
Stakeholder Experience: Serve as a trusted extension of the co-founders, ensuring key meetings, communications, and interactions are thoughtfully managed.
Travel & Event Coordination: Plan travel logistics and for select internal/external events, such as candidate visits, leadership off-sites, and investor meetings.
Workplace Operations: Maintain an organized and functional office environment—managing supplies, AV needs, and day-to-day operations.
Visitor & Event Hosting: Ensure an exceptional experience for guests—candidates, investors, execs—when visiting the office.
Trip & Event Logistics: Support leadership team off-sites including meeting planning, travel, and event setup.
Culture & Community: Assist in the planning of team gatherings, off-sites, and internal celebrations that foster connection and collaboration.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or high-level administrative role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain structure in a fast-moving environment
Comfort with direct feedback and a communication style that’s clear, candid, and fast-paced
Tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of tools like Microsoft Teams, Asana, Slack, and Notion (or quick to learn)
Reliable and proactive — takes initiative, asks thoughtful questions, and follows through without needing reminders
On-site — based in Alameda with regular in-office presence and occasional flexibility for personal needs
