Overview

The Role:

In this role, you will be part of Pwrteams’ Finance team and will be leading, organizing, controlling, and will be responsible for the overall financial and accounting activities of 2 companies– situated in Bulgaria and UK.

Responsibilities

Your Contribution To Something Big:

Prepares financial reports and consolidates data according to the requirements.
Ensures deadlines and accuracy of processed data.
Inputs accounting and financial data into specialized software.
Analyzes results and proposes actions to support management in making the right decisions.
Participates in the development of various models for forecasting and planning the company's financial resources.
Assists in the preparation of accounting documents and ensures compliance with accounting standards.
Preparing irregular reports, calculations, and analysis.
Supporting in the processes of budgeting, forecasting, and monthly analyses.
Conducts monthly and yearly accounting, including all statutory reports (VAT, CIT and WHT returns, NSI and BNB reports, etc.).
Ensures tax legislation complying, including any taxes due as withholding tax, tax on representative expenses, corporate tax, VAT and other.
Manages the communication with the National Revenue Agency (NRA), National Social Security Institute (NSSI), National Statistical Institute (NSI), Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) and other state authorities (and preparing related documentation).
Supports the Global Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

Our Ideal Teammate Has/Is:

Experience in the position of a Deputy Chief Accountant/Chief Accountant - minimum 3 years.
University Degree in Economics, Business, and/or Accounting.
Very good knowledge of Excel.
Excellent knowledge of the Bulgarian accounting, tax legislation, and the NFRS for SMEs and IFRS regulations.
Knowledge of ERP systems; experience with 365 Dynamics and ERP implementation would be a plus.
Proficiency in English.
Proven previous people management experience.
