Continuously expand your knowledge of new beauty launches, ingredients, and industry innovations to provide accurate and valuable information to customers.
• Sales and Goals: Proactively engage customers to drive sales and meet store sales targets. Recommend additional products, upsell complementary items, and promote Sephora's loyalty program. Actively participate in promotional activities and events to maximize sales opportunities.
• Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing makeup, skincare and fragrance section. Ensure shelves are stocked with an appropriate quantity of products at all times. Monitor product expiration dates and remove expired or damaged items. Participate in visual merchandising activities, including product displays and promotions.
• Brand Representation: Embody the Sephora brand values and maintain a professional appearance at all times. Ensure the store's visual merchandising standards are upheld, including cleanliness and organization of beauty counters and displays. Act as a brand ambassador by actively promoting Sephora's values and offerings.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the store team, including other beauty advisors and managers, to create a positive and inclusive work environment. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to enhance overall customer service and sales performance. Actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and workshops.
• Operations: Assist at the cash desk when asked to, ensuring a positive customer experience. • Proven experience as a beauty advisor, preferably in a retail/customer experience focused environment.

Position Objective:

The Beauty Advisor is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing sales within the store through exceptional customer service and deep product knowledge. This role involves creating a welcoming environment, providing personalized beauty consultations, and contributing to the overall store operations and visual presentation standards as directed by the store manager or assistant store manager.

Store Operations

Desired Qualification:

Your role in a nutshell

To support the store management team in driving sales and profit within the store through the delivery of exceptional customer service on the shop floor at all times.

Key duties:

The Beauty Advisor will take the time to learn our customer’s needs and recommend fantastic products that make them feel so good.
Uphold the values and vision of the company whilst ensuring adherence to company procedures & policies.
Offer expert advice to our customers and provide an inspirational insight into The Body Shop products and philosophy.

Previous retail experience is preferred

Training & Development Ensure that \"in-depth\" brand training is successfully completed for designated team members. Actively pursue additional product knowledge as needed. Cross train other Beauty Advisors.
Operational Excellence Participate in inventory control. Communicate inventory issues/concerns to Manager. Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures. Be knowledgeable of special events/animations within the store. Participate in programs to reduce shortage/loss. Designated advisors to be knowledgeable of cashier functions.
