This Role

The Support Analyst will work with an energetic professional services team and will be responsible
\nfor providing solutions to client problems, a mix of simple to complex, to ensure client satisfaction.
\nThey will priorities, research, resolve and respond to requests in accordance with set standards.
\nCommunicate with team members across the globe concerning work related matters and have a

About You
You're a fit for the role of Application Support Analyst if your background includes:

3-4 Years of previous experience in similar support engineer or analyst role at an enterprise software vendor, or with an end user of enterprise software.
Knowledge of different web browser behaviours and known issues.
Experience using Salesforce, ADO, or similar helpdesk ticketing systems.
Knowledge of the software development cycle and experience of working alongside development teams.
Works well in a team environment, embraces change and is highly adaptable.
Exceptional technical troubleshooting/analytic skills
Exemplary communication skills in English, both written and verbal, and will be able to communicate effectively and professionally at all business levels.
Good understanding of browser, plugin and computer settings that can affect web applications.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES – What you will be doing:

Core US Banking Application Support: Provide level 2/3 support for core banking applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
Banking Systems Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of banking systems, including core banking, payments, Loan servicing, and risk management.
Optimize SQL queries, PS Queries, and database scripts for performance tuning and reporting.

What you’ll need

An understanding of basic IT fundamentals and proficient user of MS-Office applications, especially Excel

Department

The Application Support team provides comprehensive support for all applications to the trading business ensuring best practice is applied to system support, upgrades, testing and procedures. The team has a broad range of technical skill sets and is dynamic yet highly disciplined in its approach. As the primary interface between the business and the various IT departments, an understanding of the business context in which the trading applications are deployed is of paramount importance.

Position purpose

To provide support of both in-house and vendor supplied applications in the Treasury, Risk and Finance areas. The role will support Post-Trade Operations, including Treasury, Credit, Risk, Product Control, Finance, Regulatory Reporting and Confirmations and Settlements.

Main responsibilities

Location: Remote in the U.S.

As a Senior Application Support Analyst – Web & Database Systems with customer facing acumen, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our web-based software application used by trade operations and settlement professionals. Leveraging your technical expertise, and communication skills, you will provide all tiers of technical support, troubleshoot issues, and enhance user experience.

Qualifications:

Experience with various AI tools, understanding and application of AI.
Deep proficiency in MS SQL Server for effective troubleshooting and software support.
Hands-on experience with creating, optimizing, and debugging MS SQL Stored Procedures.
Hands-on experience with MS SQL Reporting Services and Integration Services.
Hands-on experience with MS SQL DBA tasks, including database creation, backup, restoration, and query optimization.
Hands-on experience with MS IIS configuration and management.
Hands-on experience with installing and configuring applications on MS windows servers.
Exceptional troubleshooting abilities with a track record of timely issue resolution.
A solid technical background supporting Windows-based web applications.
Full Stack experience.
Familiarity with trade operations and settlement processes within financial services (a plus).

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by users, including software bugs, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
Utilize MS SQL Server for data analysis, troubleshooting, and supporting software functionality.
Help configure and troubleshoot issues in other applications that are required by our web-based application such as IIS, SQL Reporting Services, SQL Integration Services, SMTP Server, Batch files, and SFTP servers.
Collaborate with software developers and product managers to escalate and prioritize issues for resolution.
Serve as a technical support contact for our web-based software application used in trade operations and settlement.
Help develop and maintain support documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides, to assist users in resolving common issues independently.
Help conduct user acceptance testing for software updates and enhancements to ensure functionality and usability meet business requirements.
