Accounting Assistant (Payroll) (Ref: 250000I3)

Responsibilities

Support the administration of payroll processes and data checking for the Payroll Office, including but not limited to monthly allowance claims, tax returns, non-recurring pay and deductions
Provide general accounting and administrative support services and assist the related documentation filing
Participate in payroll related projects and tasks, such as annual tax reporting exercise, system upgrade and user acceptance tests
Assist in ad hoc projects or duties as assigned

Requirements

Grade E / Level 2 / "Attained" or above in 5 subjects of HKCEE / HKDSE, including English and Chinese Languages and Mathematics, preferably with post-secondary education in Accountancy / Human Resources Management or a related discipline
A minimum of 4 years’ relevant working experience
Understand the Employment Ordinance and Inland Revenue Ordinance in relation to payroll and salaries tax
Good team player with positive mindset, good numerical sense and attention to details
Be aware of confidentiality requirement when handling staff and sensitive matters
Immediate available is preferred
