What You Will Be Doing:

Building awareness and driving demand for Elastic solutions within Public Sector accounts, by helping users and customers derive value from their data sets
Serving as an evangelist for our Open Source offerings while communicating and demonstrating the capabilities of our commercial features
In order to participate in large projects at Public Sector entities, closely working with local SIs and consulting firms which covers Public Sector locally
Uncovering new and diverse applications use cases to enable our users to work smarter, not harder
Collaborating across Elastic business functions to ensure a seamless customer experience

What You Bring

A track-record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into multiple Public Sector accounts, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer references

Ohio: $122,500.00 - $177,625.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Senior Strategic Enterprise Account Executive (Strategic Account Leader) will report to the Japan Enterprise Area Sales Manager.
Support GitLab for our strategic and larger in Japan ideally with experience selling into Enterprise Customers.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive (AE) to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of Salesforce across the Public Sector Transport vertical. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing deals with new and existing customers, helping them achieve their digital transformation goals.

This role requires someone with a deep understanding of the UK Transport ecosystem, and both the challenges and opportunities that exist. The successful candidate will be able to work across the wider team to share insights and work on joint propositions as required.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify new leads for all Salesforce products and services
Develop and nurture relationships with senior customer stakeholders including understanding their business objectives and digital transformation challenges
Position Salesforce's solutions as the best way to address customers' outstanding needs and drive business growth
Build compelling presentations and proposals that optimally communicate the value proposition of Salesforce's Digital solutions
Leading a virtual internal team to build a road map and strategic plan for each account, bringing them into the sales process whenever possible
Be able to manage the entire end-to-end sales cycle and utilise MEDDIC methodology to assist with qualifying opportunities at every stage
Negotiate and close deals, securing new business and growing customer relationships
Lead a pipeline of opportunities, supervising progress and providing accurate forecasting
Provide ongoing customer support, ensuring customer success and improving the value they derive from Salesforce's solutions
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies to effectively advise customers and deliver innovative solutions
Understand the Partner ecosystem that is relevant to this vertical and your customers. These partners will need to align with your objectives and Point of View in order to deliver customer value.

Qualifications

Experience as an Account Exec in the technology industry, with a proven record of success in identifying, developing, and closing deals.
Strong understanding of UK Transport ecosystem and the complexities that are invovlved in working with each individual organisation
Deep knowledge of Salesforce solutions, with the ability to articulate their benefits and applications to potential customers is preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers at all levels, from technical guides to business decision-makers
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to secure new business and expand customer relationships
A results-oriented attitude with a passion for driving growth and achieving ambitious goals
A positive, can-do approach to activity that drives energy and enthusiasm across the virtual team

Public Sector Account Executives (AEs) lead the strategic business growth for new and existing Lucid government customers across their assigned territories. Provide leadership and guidance to other team members on enterprise accounts and participate in providing input on sales and marketing collateral.

Travel throughout sales territory to cultivate relationships with customers, partners, and related associations.

Education, Experience, & Skills

5 - 10+ years of experience selling complex enterprise cloud software, working with federal and the public sector (This is a core requirement).
Exhibits a natural “hunter” mentality and possesses outstanding ability to close sales.
Proven record and strong capability to generate leads, pursue opportunities and sell.
Experience selling business applications to business users in federal and the public sector.
Strong background SaaS products in Treasury, Payments, FX / Currency Risk, Supply Chain Finance is a big plus.
Experience with comprehensive account planning, relationship mapping, and business strategy mapping following sales methodologies like Target Account Selling or similar.
A proven track record of navigating significant complexities and obstacles by bringing innovation and creativity to the sales process, whilst meeting the varying demands of multiple stakeholders.
Possesses strong sensibility for technology.
An unrelenting focus on customer-related problems.
Strong in consultative and insight-based selling.
Experience articulating complex solutions to multiple decision makers and executives.
Proven ability to grow revenue and manage accounts.
Knowledge of Cloud SaaS industry.

Base compensation for this role is: $147,200.00 - $186,200.00 annual salary. In addition to the base pay this position includes a variable compensation. The role might also be potentially eligible to long term Incentive. The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including candidate profile and ideal qualifications as well as specific cost of living circumstances in some specific locations.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE). On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 50/50 pay mix (base salary / target variable).
