Job Description
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and organising:
- Recommends improvements in methods, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and maximize customer satisfaction.
Operations:
- Displays good teamwork attitudes while working in a team for major Preventive Maintenance repairs or service works
- Be willing to train and instruct other members of the staff by passing along knowledge and skills.
- Creates an atmosphere of tranquility amongst the team.
- Complete the daily checklists as required.
- Executes all carpentry works and associated works to the highest professional standards.
- Performs the assigned tasks ensuring their implementation while working independently.
- Acts on issues and concerns in the carpentry field immediately.
- Control the stock and other items in his workshop and order more as required.
- To have a complete understanding of and to adhere to Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
- Follow the grooming standards and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition at all times
- Attend departmental briefings.
- Is aware of the daily hotel activities and has product knowledge of the Hotel
- Analyze problems and formulate plans to get work done quickly with a high degree of quality.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Administration:
- Perform as per OSM Standards, and in line with the companies Values and Core Behaviours
- To attend training classes as scheduled.
- Shows fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
