Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to empower our teams to do their best work. You will champion Agile principles, facilitate meaningful collaboration, and help teams overcome challenges—creating an environment where continuous improvement, accountability, and high-quality delivery thrive.

Main objective of the job:                                       

• Define and implement the appropriate Agile approach;
• Coaching and mentoring team members and relevant stakeholders.

Main attributions and responsibilities:

• Define and implement the appropriate Agile approach, coordinate and facilitate all respective meetings;
• Coaching Product Owners, Developers and other Stakeholders;
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration;
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests;
• Supporting project teams in daily activities and ensuring transparency about teamwork and progress towards everyone;
• Removing impediments and ensuring the smooth functioning of an Agile team;
• Ensure Agile methods being understood and followed by the agile teams and the stakeholders (method expert);
• Supporting self-organization of the team & cultural change;
• Protecting Agile teams (e.g. against requirements volatility, conflicting new tasks during a Sprint or fluctuation of project resources);
• Conduct and organize trainings within project and business teams, coach team in agile processes;
• Implement a continuous improvement process so methods are constantly evolving and digital knowledge is built (training/ongoing learning);
• Help teams implement changes effectively;
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint;
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity;
• Support to build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.

Qualifications

Studies:

• University Diploma;  
• High school Diploma.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Relevant experience in a Scrum Master role in IT or similar industry (minimum 3 years);
• Experience with different Agile methodologies (ie. Kanban , Design Thinking, incl. scaling frameworks -SAFe preferred);
• Coaching skills and a deeper understanding of coaching techniques and attitudes;
• Servant leadership attitude, situational awareness;
• Focused on continuous improvement and increasing transparency;
• Good understanding and practical experience of change management principles, techniques & tools;
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability;
• Experience in facilitating meetings using visual meeting techniques and tools;
• Very good communication skills and experience in working with international teams;
• Solution-oriented mindset;
• Language: English.
