Job Summary: 

In our Dublin IT office, we design, support and roll out technology solutions for Colgate-Palmolive across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. We do this by combining a strong understanding of business processes with expertise in a broad range of technologies, including market leading tools such as SAP, Domo, Shopify, Snowflake and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Our team brings together people from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, including but not limited to Computer Science, Business Studies, Engineering and Finance.

Our Business Analyst Intern programme runs for 9–12 months and offers the chance to gain experience in two of five key areas: Customer Development, Supply Chain, Digital Applications, Analytics and Finance. Throughout your internship, you will work on a wide variety of projects while also collaborating with colleagues as part of a global team, contributing to the development and adoption of new digital capabilities and innovative solutions.

You will be supported through a structured buddy/mentor programme, as well as access to our Global Wellness Programme. There are many opportunities to get involved in our local initiatives, AI Champions, Sustainability, Inclusion & Belonging, Wellbeing, Learning Champions and a vibrant calendar of social events that help you build your network and enjoy life in the office.

As part of our strong community focus, interns can take part in fundraising activities for our local charity partner, Barnardos. You’ll have the chance to lead monthly initiatives that raise awareness, support the charity’s work and bring some extra fun to the workplace. Colgate-Palmolive continues to invest in its Intern Programme, and many of our current employees began their careers here as interns, your internship could be the first step in a long-term career with us.

During your intern programme at Colgate, not only will you develop your professional skills but you will also develop personally. The culture at Colgate is supportive, giving you the keys to focus on your professional growth. You will also have the opportunity to learn skills in key areas such as AI (Google Gemini, Retool, NotebookLM) and SQL.

Successful applicants will take part in a structured induction programme that introduces you to Colgate-Palmolive, our global operations and digital-first ways of working. You’ll receive hands-on training across a range of tools and capabilities.  You will also gain experience in working as part of a global organisation and the various collaboration tools used to manage this effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong oral & written communication skills.

  • Ability to identify, analyze and problem solve. 

  • Excellent collaboration skills while also being able to work independently.

  • Flexible and adaptable to new technologies.

  • Interested in IT projects and how they add value to a global company.

  • Experience or knowledge of G-Suite Tools (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides).
