We are seeking a Senior Mobile App Product Designer to help shape and elevate this high-impact product.
The Senior Mobile App Product Designer is responsible for defining and delivering cohesive mobile app experiences across iOS and Android for our portfolio of brands, including Abercrombie Adults, Abercrombie Kids, and Hollister. As part of A&F’s Experience and Digital Product Team, this role partners cross-functionally to translate product strategy into inclusive, high-quality solutions from concept through delivery.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Own the full design lifecycle for mobile app initiatives, translating insights and ideas into thoughtfully crafted experiences from research and ideation through prototyping, end-to-end flows, design system components, and high-fidelity visual design.
- Partner cross-functionally with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to define product vision and deliver mobile-first digital experiences across the retail ecosystem, including mobile apps and web platforms.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering partners to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility in design decisions.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative insights—including user research, usability testing, and analytics—to inform, validate, and iterate on design solutions.
- Contribute to and help evolve the mobile design system to ensure consistency, scalability, accessibility, and alignment across brands and platforms.
- Socialize design concepts and deliverables with cross-functional teams and stakeholders with appropriate levels of fidelity and rationale.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring design is integrated throughout the product development process.
- Participate in design reviews and critiques, providing and soliciting constructive feedback to raise the quality and consistency of design across the team.
- Support design maturity across the organization by modeling strong design thinking, collaboration, and craft.
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor’s Degree or related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital product design, UX/UI, or a related field, with a strong focus on native mobile app design.
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end experience designing and shipping consumer-facing mobile products, including research, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual design.
- Deep understanding of mobile UX best practices, platform conventions (iOS and Android), and accessibility standards.
- Strong proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma and experience working with design systems.
- Experience in the development of artifacts such as sketches, storyboards, scenarios, process flows, IA visualizations, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to drive design solutions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and influence cross-functional partners.
- Experience working in agile with cross-functional teams using modern product development methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Agile, Lean UX).
- Ability to work confidently in an iterative design process that includes giving, accepting, and responding to feedback and constructive critique

This role allows for remote work across the U.S.. Therefore, in states and cities that require the hourly or salary compensation or pay range to be included in a job posting, the recruiting pay range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your years of experience, your work location, comparison to other employees in similar or related roles, or market demands. The range may be modified in the future.
