Cost Accountant I

Are you passionate about precision and problem-solving in the world of finance? We're looking for a detail-driven accounting professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for assisting management in all facets of cost accounting including direct labor reporting, Labor Rates, Overhead Rates, Standard Cost, PPV and Material Variances, operations budgets, sales and gross margin reporting, and finance representative on new product development teams.

Additionally, the Cost Accountant I provides detailed budget and actual data to the Operations Team.  This role will work directly with the Director of Operations and staff on the reporting of operations metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Labor reporting, Project Accountings, Operations Expenses
• New product development costing
• Inventory and Material Variance Analysis
• Standard Cost of Machines & Parts both purchased and manufactured

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree - Accounting/Finance
• 1-3 Years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in Cost Accounting preferred

 Working Conditions: 

Normal office environment with regular trips to production floor.
