Our Finance team is a passionate, high-performing group committed to supporting PowerSchool operations through accurate and timely financial transaction management. The team provides critical business guidance on a broad range of accounting, reporting, and analytical projects, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
Responsibilities
Description
Our Accounting team manages business transactions on behalf of the organization, reporting on company performance, issuing financial statements, and maintaining financial records.
Your day-to-day job will consists:
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and month-end close.
Perform GL accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Handle AR, AP, revenue, and expense accounting with strong attention to accuracy and timelines.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and provide required schedules and explanations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Operations, HR, Tax) for accounting inputs.
Prepare and maintain MIS reports, reconciliations, and management schedules.
Support process improvements, documentation, and automation initiatives where applicable.
Work closely with senior finance team members to support reporting and analysis needs.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of Indian GAAP (IFRS exposure is a plus).
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite / Oracle / SAP / Workday / Tally).
Good working knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
Exposure to SaaS or services revenue accounting is an advantage.
High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently.
Strong communication and coordination skills.

Minimum Qualifications
- B.Com with 5–6 years of relevant hands-on accounting experience preferaly diversity candidate
Preferred Qualifications
5–6 years (SaaS / IT / Services preferred but not mandatory) with good knowledge of Netsuit/Adaptive/SAP .good excel skills.
