Intern, Industrial Design

Primary Purpose Summary

This internship is designed to support and assist our industrial designers in their daily work, focusing on tasks such as creating and revising technical drawings, supporting design documentation, and conducting related data analysis. By working closely with experienced industrial designers, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of industrial design projects—from concept development to technical execution.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist industrial designers with the creation and revision of technical drawings and design documentation.
• Support data collection and analysis related to design projects.
• Participate in the preparation and organization of design files and project records.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in design outputs.
• Contribute to the improvement of design processes and workflow efficiency.

 

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with technical drawing standards and industrial design principles.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

 

Skills/Abilities

• Solid foundation in industrial design and technical drawing.
• Willingness to learn and actively participate in practical projects.
• Ability to analyze and interpret design-related data.
• English CET-4 or above; German or French language skills preferred.
