Within the Financial Department of Laboratoires Filorga Cosmétiques in Paris, the Commercial Finance Business Partner FR/BE provides finance support to the Customer Development Leads by providing finance guidance on:

- the strategy, the reporting & planning process

- the ROI of commercial investments.

 

This position is reporting to the Filorga CD Finance Manager, and is based in Paris.

 

Your main missions as Commercial Finance Business Partner: 

- manage the planning process and actively participate in the monthly commercial consensus process, based on ATLAS tool, for the FR&BE markets, by supporting Customer Development Team to estimate Volume, Net Sales, Gross to Net, Margin and A&P investments, and constantly track the achievement of the forecast

- perform variance analysis between forecast and actuals and deliver reporting and commentary highlighting both qualitative and quantitative drivers of performance and risks and opportunities in: Sales Growth, Margin, A&P Investment, Brand and Channel P&Ls

- guarantee the level of provisions for commercial investments and the correct accounting allocation of the investments 

- ensure control of NVOs spends and provide month-end analysis and forecast of the NVOs for assigned markets

- actively participate in the monthly closing of accounts and quarterly reporting to the group, and in the explanation of landings & deviations for the assigned P&L

- collect and analyze data, prepare monthly reporting and share the results with your business partners (monthly meetings) and management

- evaluate the profitability of commercial investments and make recommendations to improve their efficiency

- help evaluating the potential,  the financial risk and the pricing strategy for any new export market opening

- participate in the pricing process for assigned markets

- elevate finance skills and internal controls awareness of commercial teams

 

Your transversal missions:

- you have an alert role with your business partners and management, in particular via risk assessment

- you are a driving force in the definition and implementation of new tools, new processes and simplification initiatives

- you are strongly involved in the internal control processes (SOX) and monitoring of procedures, and you provide support during audits by our auditors or the internal control of the Colgate group

Education & Experience Requirements:

-With higher education, bac +4/5, in finance/management, you have significant and successful minimum 3Y experience acquired at an industry company. 

-Experience in Luxury / Cosmetics industry is a plus.

-Sound accounting skills with a basic understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation

-High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Business Apps  

-Hands on experience in SAP preferred

-Proficiency in French is required &  English is mandatory
