DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for daily Pre-Task Planning of all work performed in the field.
• Layout, fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems.
• Coordinate work schedules in conjunction with immediate supervisor.
• Study blueprints, isometric drawings, and construction plans for pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
• Install, inspect, and test systems.
• Repair and replace damaged pipe components.
• Use proper hand or power tools, as needed to complete task.
• Select pipe types, sizes, and quantity required for a plumbing project.
• Read, understand, and draw isometric/shop drawings for fabrication.
• Comply with relevant international and uniform plumbing codes and regulatory standards.
• Mentoring apprentice-level plumbers and helpers.
• Knowledge of rigging.
• Communicate clearly verbally, digitally, and in writing.
• Ensure parts and materials are available, received, inventoried, and stored appropriately.
• Ensure proper transfer of equipment and material between job sites.
• May operate company vehicles, forklift, and aerial lift in conjunction with proper certification.
• Comply with current client(s), company and OSHA safety standards.
• Ensure all employees follow proper safety procedures and policies.
• Inform Safety Manager, Superintendents and/or Supervisor of all safety violations immediately.
• Follow all company and jobsite policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employee will
be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED desired.
• At least three years’ experience in trade.
• Journeyman plumbers license desired.
• Some travel may be required.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Basic geometry and trigonometry math skills needed for plumbing.
• Must have personal hand tools for the trade.
• Accuracy, detail oriented, organized, reliable, responsible, safety awareness, accountability, ambition, active listener,
applied learner, conflict resolution, customer oriented, decision making.
• Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol testing.
