We are seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion. 

You will be part of the Data Engineering team but will work supporting the Data Science team. Your role will be to help them by delivering clean, reliable, and automated data processes that support financial decision-making.

If you're based in Argentina you can work 100% remotely. If you're located in Montevideo or Colombia you also have the option to work from our local office.

Job Description

Lead and manage the execution of cross-functional technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. This role involves defining project strategies, understanding complex business contexts, and driving delivery in fast-paced environments with evolving scopes and priorities.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, comfortable working with ambiguity, managing multiple workstreams, and acting as the primary point of contact for both clients and internal teams.

This role may involve collaboration with US-based clients (PST) and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Oversee the successful execution and delivery of project objectives across client engagements.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, forecasts, and status reports.
Manage multiple parallel workstreams and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, including senior leaders and executives.
Manage risks, assumptions, dependencies, and issues, ensuring clear documentation of decisions, trade-offs, and rationale.
Communicate project status regularly, manage expectations, and hold stakeholders accountable for agreed deadlines and deliverables.
Proactively identify, anticipate, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
Ensure high quality of delivery and maintain strong client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder readouts as needed.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance delivery efficiency.
Collaborate with, mentor, and coach other project managers, contributing to continuous improvement of delivery and agile practices.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in project management with IT product-related deliverables, collaborating with development and/or data teams.
Proven experience managing large, complex projects with external clients and multiple parallel workstreams.
Strong experience leading and coaching team members.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
High level of proactivity, autonomy, and self-starter mindset.
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong adaptability to changing priorities, project requirements, and stakeholder needs.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (required).
Strong experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); solid understanding of Waterfall methodologies.
PMP certification is a plus.
Experience acting as a Product Owner and/or Agile Coach is a strong plus.
Experience leading GenAI, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering projects is a plus.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks is a plus.
What about languages?
You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with clients and cross-functional teams.
