- Ringwood, based on the lands of the Wurundjeri People. Hybrid (work 2 days per week from home).
- $130,000 + 12% super + generous salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550

Your role, your impact
As Finance Manager, you’ll lead a team responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and ongoing improvement of Each’s financial operations. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the financial sustainability of a large, diverse, and purpose‑driven organisation.
You’ll bring clarity to complex financial information, strengthen processes and internal controls, and support key decisions across the business, helping our teams deliver better outcomes for the communities we serve.
In this role you will:
- Deliver high‑quality financial and statutory reporting including monthly statements, balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flow reporting.
- Manage ledger integrity through oversight of the general ledger and fixed asset register.
- Lead transactional accounting functions including banking, reconciliations, accounts payable, and month‑end journals.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and maintain constructive banking relationships.
- Strengthen compliance and risk management through adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing finance systems, processes, and policies.
- Prepare and lodge key regulatory submissions including BAS, FBT, ABS surveys, and ATO payments.
- Lead and develop your team, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing, and values‑aligned culture.
- Partner with Finance Business Partners to support month‑end workflows and broader operational needs.
- Provide financial insight for major organisational projects, ensuring decisions are informed and sustainable.
Who we’re looking for
You’re a values‑driven finance professional with strong technical capability and a passion for supporting better outcomes for people and communities. You’re able to simplify complex information, build trusting relationships, and lead with clarity and integrity.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in finance or accounting, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
- Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics NAV, Jedox).
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Ability to work effectively within large or complex organisations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders with ease.
- Highly developed attention to detail, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Commitment to respectful, culturally informed engagement with diverse communities.
Mandatory qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- CPA or CA qualification
