Job Description
Tietoevry Create Ukraine invites talented professionals to join our customer’s team as a Senior SQL Database Administrator for remote cooperation. Our client is one of the leading Scandinavian online supermarkets, providing convenient grocery delivery services across the country.
Areas of Responsibility
- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server (2016+) in production environments
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server–based solutions, including stored procedures, views, SSIS packages, SQL Agent jobs, and replication to support reporting, integrations, and data consistency across environments.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backups, and performance optimization
- Handle incidents and service requests
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, dev and security teams
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in similar positions
- Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, T-SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with clustering, backup/restore, and DR scenarios
- Experience working in SLA-driven ITOPS / managed services environments (ITIL-aligned)
- Experience with monitoring tools and PowerShell automation
- Familiarity with Azure SQL / SQL on Azure VMs (hybrid environments)
- Intermediate+ level of English and strong ownership mindset
