New York, NY, United States of America

Full Time

It all started with an idea at Block in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 50+ million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world's relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.

Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration and impact. We've been a distributed team since day one, and many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy.

The Role

The Cash App Engagement & Retention Marketing team works to build and maintain deep, personalized, and long-term relationships with our customers by understanding their needs and how to nurture and meet those needs, how best to communicate with them, and how to drive continued positive brand sentiment. Our activities are quantitatively and qualitatively data-driven, innovative, and impact-driving. We're looking for a Campaign Marketing Manager to join our team.

We're looking for a Campaign Marketing Manager to work collaboratively with Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Partnerships Marketing, Product, and Data Science to build campaign strategies and execute against them. Campaigns will cover various initiatives, go-to-market campaigns, partnership campaigns, and integrated brand campaigns. This role requires a marketer with strong organizational, stakeholder management, and communication skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. This person should be experienced in applying agentic tooling to as much of their role as possible to maximize both quantity and quality of output. This person should have a customer-first mindset and prioritizes the customer experience through driving a strong POV around the channel and targeting strategies that put our customers first.

Our work is both quantitatively and qualitatively data-driven, innovative, and impact-oriented — and you'll have the opportunity to contribute directly to programs that shape the way customers perceive and engage with Cash App across their journey. You'll work cross-functionally to develop campaigns, run experiments, and contribute to scaling our lifecycle engine to be smarter, more personalized, and more effective at converting consideration into action.

You Will

  • Collaborate closely with Brand and Partnership marketing teams to lead CRM strategy for product launches and integrated marketing campaigns (e.g. GTMs) across owned channels, owning the channel and targeting strategies and campaign execution.
  • Partner with Product teams to gain a deep understanding of the products you are promoting, to ensure marketing content strongly represents Cash App's value propositions and delivers educational opportunities for our customers.
  • Contribute to and build the CRM personalization strategy to ensure campaigns are relevant and personalized to individual customers based on customer attributes, in-app behaviors behaviors and segmentation.
  • Use AI to uplevel and automate work as much as possible, across strategy, briefing, asset development, build and deployment, and analysis.
  • Create and run strategic experiments to evaluate new and evolving conversion levers through campaigns and apply learnings to optimize future campaigns
  • Build, QA, deploy, and monitor campaigns using CRM tools, ensuring accuracy and a seamless customer experience
  • Monitor, track and share campaign performance of all marketing activities with relevant stakeholders. Use learnings to continuously enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Understand Cash App's customer base deeply in order to create and deliver thoughtful content that will resonate with them.
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and clear communication

You Have

  • 5+ years of CRM/Lifecycle Marketing experience,  ideally in a B2C
  • Hands-on experience in CRM tools (ex: Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and personalization platforms (e.g., Moveable Ink)
  • Strong campaign execution skills, with experience developing strategy, managing projects, and executing across multiple lifecycle channels
  • Experience with AI in automating strategic and operational tasks
  • Comfortable analyzing performance data to generate insights and optimize campaigns; proficient in SQL, Tableau, Google Sheets or similar tools
  • Collaborative team player with a growth mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation, lifecycle funnel design, or incentive-based marketing strategies is a plus
  • Working knowledge of compliance standards like CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA
  • Experience working and communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders including Legal/Compliance, Marketing Operations, Brand & Partnership Marketing, Creative, Product, and Engineering
  • Excellent understanding customer journey analysis & development with the ability to think through the lens of the customer
  • Experience analyzing marketing performance, including pre-campaign experimentation planning through post-campaign analysis using data and metrics
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment preferred
