Pengate Handling Systems is hiring a Business Development Manager! In this position you are responsible for protecting the organization’s critical systems and assets, building solutions, implementing new software, providing training and assisting in developing the overall IT strategy.

What You’ll Do
- Sale of Raymond and Toyota lift-trucks and associated material handling products and services.
- Attract new clients by overseeing the sales process for the business
- Develop new accounts, through “cold calling”, networking, social media on potential new customers.
- Utilize CRM system
- Work with Sales Management team members to identify opportunities
- Identify and research opportunities that come up in new customers
- Prepare and develop presentations to potential new clients
- Foster a collaborative environment within the business as a whole
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
- Make recommendations for equipment and offer material handling systems and solutions.
- Prepare proposals and presentations to support the sales process.
- Prepare and maintain reports both customer- facing and internal.
- Maintain communications with other departments to enhance our value proposition.
- Maintain internal customer information.
- Safely operate lift trucks for demonstration purposes.
- Develop and maintain business plans.
- Additional duties as required or assigned.
What You’ll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
- Previous material handling industry experience is preferred but not required
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM, computer programs

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
- Physical demands include the ability to frequently lift/move objects up to 50 pounds
- Noise levels typically range from love to moderate
- Clear articulation and voice control are essential
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
