Automation Test Engineer (TestComplete)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong TestComplete expertise to join our QA team in the Philippines - AEC Digital Services OPC. The role focuses on building and maintaining reliable automation using keyword-driven and script-based testing, while actively contributing to overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete
• Build keyword-driven and script-based automation test
• Convert manual test cases into automated test scenarios
• Execute functional and regression tests
• Analyse test results and log defects with clear documentation
• Design, maintain and enhance automation frameworks
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders
• Identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–4+ years of overall experience in software testing
• 2+ years of strong practical experience with TestComplete
• Proficiency in TestComplete scripting languages (JavaScript, Python)
• Ability to design and maintain automation frameworks
• Experience testing Web & Desktop applications (Windows apps)
• Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
• Proficiency with Jira or other testing tools
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Desirable skills

• Experience in selenium
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Mentoring junior testers or knowledge sharing experience
