Technical Support Engineer – EMEA

Location: Cluj Napoca, Romania 
Working hours: Rotating 24/7 shifts (including weekends and holidays) 
75% of the time will be Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm office based.
25% of the time will be working evenings, nights and weekends remote based - This time is paid at an enhanced pay rate.

About the Role
Are you a recent STEM graduate or an engineer looking to kick-start your career in a global technology company? At Vertiv, we’re powering the world’s most critical infrastructure,  from data centers to telecoms and we’re looking for curious, tech-minded individuals to join our EMEA Support team.

In this role, you’ll learn to support and troubleshoot Vertiv’s advanced software and hardware systems that monitor power, cooling, and energy performance across major industries. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers, gain hands-on experience with live systems, and help ensure our customers’ critical operations never stop running.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver remote technical support for Vertiv’s monitoring platforms (Cloud Service Portal, Critical Insight, Environet Connect).
  • Diagnose and resolve software, network, and system issues for customers across EMEA.
  • Configure and integrate systems such as DC power, cooling, routers, and PDUs.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to simulate issues, test fixes, and document solutions.
  • Prepare reports and network audits, ensuring top-quality service and performance.
  • Learn continuously, mastering new technologies and tools as you grow.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Students or graduates in STEM, Electrical, Electronic, Telecom, Mechanical, or related fields.
  • Technical diploma or polytechnical background is desirable.
  • Little or no professional experience required just a passion for technology and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Analytical, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
