Job Description
Perform the inspection process, ensuring that the product is inspected to established specifications before placing it into useable stock.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished devices at all phases of manufacturing per released specifications.
- Identify the product, including the inspection and test status.
- Read and understand specifications and part drawings.
- Utilize and maintain hand tools, calibrated instruments, measuring equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
- Maintain controlled environment integrity by using proper attire and adherence to control room environment practices and procedures.
- Assist in processing non-conforming material throughout the manufacturing process.
Requirements
Education / Certifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Equivalent Experience
Job Requirements
- Experience in a Quality Control or Quality Engineering department and/or
- Experience working within the medical device manufacturing environment
- Basic Math Skills
- Legible handwriting
- Attention to detail
- Can read a print
- Critical thinking skills
- Advanced Math skills
- Minimal errors with paperwork
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full knowledge of building/area of product/equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Works independently
