Everi/IGT is looking for a Software Game Developer to join our team and help bring exciting slot machine games to life. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a passionate, creative group to build engaging game experiences, tackle development challenges, and turn ideas into playable reality. You’ll focus on front-end development, integrating artwork and designs to shape what players see and interact with, all while contributing to games enjoyed by players around the world. 

**Candidates must be based in Reno, Chicago, or Las Vegas to be considered.**

What Will You Be Doing?

• Design, build, and improve software applications using core computer science skills.
• Follow established architecture while exploring new ideas and best practices to keep things fresh and innovative.
• Share progress with the team, speak up about challenges, and help clear roadblocks.
• Deliver quality work on time and keep things moving smoothly.
• Help document code and take part in code reviews to keep everything clean and reliable.
• Contribute ideas and solutions that improve performance, quality, and efficiency.
• Support risk assessments when making code changes to ensure stability and success.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience in the gaming industry.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++, C#, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, .NET, or similar.
• A collaborative team player who genuinely enjoys games.
• Passion for creating and playing games.
• Familiarity with design patterns.

Nice to haves

• Console game development experience (PlayStation, Xbox, etc.).
• Experience with automation and reusable code.
• Strong object-oriented design skills.
• Unity experience.
• Slot game development experience.

At IGT, we believe compensation should reflect you —your unique background, skills, experience, and even where you work. That’s why the compensation range for this role is $70K - 77K, with room to go higher or lower depending on the full picture. We also follow all local pay laws and collective bargaining agreements.
