Job Location: Atlanta, GA 30313Position Type: Full TimeSummary of Responsibilities
Perform routine manufacturing operations to produce clinical and/or commercial products. Operate production equipment in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and execute daily activities on the manufacturing floor.
Key Duties
- Carry out manufacturing tasks, including electromechanical assembly and disposable assemblies, accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in controlled environments to meet regulatory requirements, GMP standards, and SOPs.
- Complete required training on SOPs and On-the-Job Training (OJT) processes; collaborate with supervisors to ensure compliance.
- Conduct in-process testing to verify batches meet specifications.
- Assist in onboarding and training new personnel as needed.
- Partner with Engineering and R&D teams to support development of new or modified processes.
- Recommend improvements to processes and systems for efficiency and quality.
- Communicate effectively and escalate issues for timely resolution.
- Identify process deviations and promptly notify management.
- Serve as Acting Lead Technician in the absence of the designated lead.
- Meet performance expectations as defined by management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, technical degree, or 1+ years of manufacturing experience (industry experience not required).
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Practical understanding of lean manufacturing principles and basic statistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate issues to management as they arise.
- Ability to read and understand company quality documents and processes.
- Sense of urgency with ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
