We are looking for a motivated Investment Analyst / Associate to join our Investment Team in Canberra.

We expect the ideal candidate to have several years of professional experience in corporate finance, investment banking, M&A or similar with some exposure to emerging technologies as a preference. Critical to your role will be the ability to identify investment theses and key value drivers, conduct deep market and sector research, assess financial performance and projections, and proactively support, assess, and report on portfolio companies as they mature.

The Investment Associate / Analyst will report to the Investment Principal and work within the wider Investment Team. You will work alongside experienced investors and founders, gaining first-hand exposure to the venture capital process — from sourcing and diligence through to portfolio management and realisation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with Honours or postgraduate qualifications in Finance, Economics, or Commerce
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or financial consulting
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
  • Good understanding of the value drivers of commercial success
  • Confident learning about emerging technologies and assessing the relevant markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
