Description
The Customer Support Specialist will specialize in all support around Owners experience from time of purchase through lifecycle of ownership. They will be responsible for educating Owners and providing assistance with resort availability and getting Owners on vacations utilizing the product purchased. This will require enhanced awareness and knowledge of products offered and of the different home resorts. This will include any issues arising from their understanding of the product purchased, issues while staying at the resort and include issues arising from making/arranging payments on their account. This position will require strong salesmanship in bridging gaps of Owner’s expectations of their purchased product and actual usage capabilities.
Essential Functions:
- Support all departments with any Owner related products, availability, or payment issues
- Maintain expert knowledge about company product and services to best engage and help Owners
- Educating Owners on the product(s) they own, the benefits of the product(s), and how to best take advantage of their product(s) n an effort to maximize their ownership experience
- Provide introductory and ongoing information for customers through lifecycle of ownership
- Maintain tracking of demand and successful/unsuccessful fulfillment of demand
- Determine the quickest and most effective ways to answer Owners questions
- Handle ongoing payments for customers products
- Field inbound and handle outbound calls to customers
- Meet all deadlines, as set by management
- Maintain and enforce a professional environment
- Maintain a flexible schedule
- Must meet needs and priorities of specific job duties to support other departmental needs
- Perform all other job requests as assigned by management
- Maintain and protect customer personal information by keeping information confidential
Requirements
- Strong sales skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Read and write English fluently
- Dependable and motivated team player
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Must be able to have a flexible work schedule
- Will collect mortgage and maintenance fees along with personal information
- High attention to detail
