Supplier Quality Engineer E-Mobility

What you will do as a Supplier Quality Engineer E-Mobility:

• Work closely with the suppliers of E-Mobility dedicated components, understanding the common defects and how those non-conformances can impact overall our products;
• Understand proper level of technical documentation and tracking of technical actions and justification of decisions in case of nonconformities;
• Lead Root Cause Analysis for non-conformances and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions, by using 8D Problem Solving methodology;
• Define Incoming Inspection plans for components received;
• Perform process VDA 6.3 audits and assessments at suppliers;
• Perform on-site supplier visits when required for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions for supplier quality issues;
• Support the Supplier Change Management process for serial production, including PPAP activity;
• Organize regular quality-driven meetings for critical issues or suppliers;
• Drive RMA and Cost of Poor Quality processes;
• Act as a team player with analytical, solution-oriented and proactive working style open to support the internal team;

What will you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanics, Electronics) or relevant professional experience;
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing processes (e.g. casting, machinning, plastic molding, etc.);
• Minimum 3 years experience in quality or manufacturing (experience as Supplier Quality Engineer is a plus);
• Excellent analytical / problem-solving skills for supplier interaction and audits, with strong attention to details;
• Strong knowledge of Problem Solving techniques: 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, etc.;
• Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (VDA 6.3 auditor certificate is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills in English.
