Copywriter

We’re looking for a creative, detail‑driven Copywriter to join our SEO & Content Strategy team. In this role, you’ll craft clear, engaging and user‑focused content that helps customers understand Optus’ products and services, while ensuring everything you produce is aligned to our brand guidelines and digital strategy.

This is a 12 month maternity leave cover.

 

What You’ll Do | Your day to day will consist of

• Create clear, customer‑friendly digital content that simplifies complex products while supporting SEO and CX goals.   
• Produce and optimise content across web, EDMs, blogs, infographics and scripts, including AI‑assisted content creation.   
• Collaborate with SEO, Marketing, Product and GTM teams to ensure keyword alignment and consistent brand messaging.   
• Support performance improvements through A/B testing and content experimentation.   
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure timely, high‑quality content delivery across teams.

 

What You Bring | What makes you perfect for the role?

• 3+ years’ experience in copywriting, ideally in a tech or consumer‑focused digital environment.
• Strong ability to write within an established tone of voice and adapt content for different digital environments.
• Experience producing content across multiple formats (web, blogs, email, scripts, infographics).
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work at pace with multiple teams.
• Understanding of SEO principles and the link between content, UX and performance.
• Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable managing high volumes of work in fast‑moving environments.
