The Role & What You Will Be Doing 

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Maintenance technician role will make an impact:  

•  Set up the equipment of the production lines according to the format data.
• Prepare the machines for line clearance and cleaning.
• Maintain the packaging factory equipment according to the maintenance plan.
• Trouble shooting and repairing unexpected failures.
• Documents activity that has been carried out according to the regulations.
• Inform the Maintenance Technician shift manager, report on deviations, execute instructions.
• Complies with GMP, EHS and environmental rules and directives. Participates in related training.
• Comply with safety rules: wearing and use of protective equipment and clothing; comply with fireprotection and safety rules at workplace; follow traffic routes; follow EHS rules; participate at training.
• Operates the different equipment of any packaging line in an efficient and safe manner in compliance to Standard Operation Procedures. Notify any malfunctions to the line leader.
• Filling in BPR (Batch Packaging Record).
• Inform Shift Manager or Engineering in case of malfunction or inadequate operation of equipment and tools.
• Cooperate with the Packaging and QA personnel working in the Packaging Department if required.
• Notifies more senior level in case deviations and incidents found during the production. Reports any problem to the packaging shift manager.
• Carries out other duties as assigned by the Manager

About Your Skills & Experience 

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:  

•  Secondary school education in a technical field, preferably as control technician. Ability to read and understand technical and electrical drawings, to use gages, understanding measuring results. Knowledge of HVAC and pneumatic systems. User level knowledge of computer (MS Outlook, Lotus Notes, Internet, MS Word and Excel).
• Fast comprehension, problem solving skills. Manual dexterity. Cooperation with others, compliance with directions and rules. Organisation skills, ability to coordinate activities with others. Able to work independently.
• Jobholder reports to the Maintenance Manager. Professional instructions given by the Maintenance Shift manager.
• Knowledge of local language (Hungarian) with effective written and oral communication. Ability to read and interpret technical documents. Ability to understand technical data and write technical reports and correspondence.
• Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment. Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
• Sitting, standing, walking or stooping, lifting light and medium weights.
• Duties carried out under factory clean room, occasionally warehouse environment and circumstances.
