Your Role: Strategic Talent Partnerships Program Manager

The Strategic Talent Partnerships Program Manager will drive Elanco’s Global Student Programs including internships, externships, and key association partnerships which fuel our future talent pipeline and build internal capabilities for our business. This will include maximizing the student/intern experience while building Elanco’s employer brand and identifying talent needs of the future.  The Program Manager will own the continuous improvement and evolution of key partnerships (University, other professional organizations) to continue to differentiate Elanco and make it a destination for up-and-coming talent.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership and execution of the US Student programs (internships, externships, academic workers and key association partnerships) while establishing and scaling best practices to inform and accelerate the maturity of student programs around the globe

  • Plan, Execute and Manage the campus/student programs strategy with a focus on creating an exceptional program experience for participants and ambassadors, while demonstrating an agile command of the campus/student programs resource budget.

  • Build robust early‑talent pipelines: establish campus strategies for interns and fulltime hires; partner with key universities and organizations.

  • Oversee end‑to‑end recruiting for student programs: creative sourcing, rigorous interviewing/assessment, influencing and closing candidates; ensure outstanding candidate experience.

  • Measure and optimize program performance: monitor KPIs (including business impact) and iterate to improve outcomes.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent level of experience

  • Experience: 5 Years of professional experience in any combination of Campus Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development or Marketing

  • Top 2 skills: Excels in leading in ambiguous environments and without authority; Demonstrated ownership of broad talent programs

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Proven ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level leaders.

  • Ability to lead and organize engaging virtual and in-person training and orientation sessions.

  • Proven ability to prioritize across many initiatives and juggle a large volume of activity, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and focus on delivering results.

  • Experience managing a complex program budget or managing stakeholder/enterprise expense efficiency.

  • A demonstrated track record of establishing and maintaining successful partnerships with large external organizations.

  • Travel: 15%; May require more extensive travel during heavy recruiting seasons
