What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and operates efficiently
  • Work as part of a proactive, hands-on team to support daily farm and factory operations
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on our production machinery and our automated glasshouse
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults
  • Minimise downtime by responding promptly to breakdowns
  • Fabricate and weld components when needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve process efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in maintenance, mechanical repairs, or fitting
  • Experience with fault finding on automated or semi-automated machinery
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to think on your feet
  • A sound knowledge of PLC’s, pneumatic and electrical systems (A Plus!)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, driven, adaptable, and ready to tackle new challenges
  • Someone who would be willing to be on call/work occasional weekends
