Description
Landa is seeking a Production Mechanical Engineer to lead and support production processes for the blankets line in our consumables factory. The Production Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for driving improvements in line efficiency, quality, and reliability, and ensuring the smooth implementation of engineering solutions and operator training.
Responsibilities
- Support the line operators in complex issues with the production machines (RCA, hands-on technical support)
- Initiate improvements – mechanical, electrical, process, etc., and implement external changes to the product and production line.
- Manage the ECO lifecycle for the changes.
- Develop and maintain procedures, train line operators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Logistics, Maintenance, NPI) to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or Practical Engineer with strong relevant experience (Mechanics or Electronics).
- 5+ years in design, production support, and improvement.
- 2+ years of SolidWorks experience.
- Familiarity with PDM (preferably Windchill) is an advantage.
- ERP QAD experience – an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 – an advantage.
- English – fluent.
