End-to-end ownership of material readiness, ensuring clear alignment between supply capabilities and build requirements. Proactively identifies risks, translate complex constraints into actionable plans, and engage suppliers and internal stakeholders with clarity and urgency. By maintaining high data integrity in ERP/MRP systems, enforcing standard work, and making disciplined, data-driven decisions, minimizes disruptions, and directly supports operational excellence and customer commitments.
Responsibilities
- For assigned products and programs execute supply chain programs that support delivery, reduce supply risk, reduce costs, and optimize cash flow
- Attend production meetings, represent shortages to internal and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve root causes and corrective actions for misalignments such as, planning errors, unplanned demand, ECO implementation, item attribute and external supply related constraints.
- Maintain DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP) programs such as Kanban and safety stock replenishment contracts inclusive of analyzing and updating quantities, maintaining proper ERP system set up, keeping applicable contractual liabilities and amendments current, mitigating Ichor’s liability, resolving delivery discrepancies, providing forecasts to suppliers, and ensuring suppliers are performing to contractual service levels
- Define and communicate clear problem statements related to material shortages, actively engage with suppliers, and take ownership of resolution plans.
- Oversee and drive input for demand volatility buffer programs and risk buy strategies to support supply stability.
- Clear line of sight between material constraints and build plans
- Clear problem statements, engagement with suppliers, and ownership of plans to resolve constrained materials
- Responsible for ensuring proper and complete configuration of ERP for assigned products / parts.
- Purchasing source records and Item Master Records (Make vs Buy) Bill of material relevance in MRP
- Expedite fee coordination
- Customer facing status or coordination on critical parts and or supply initiatives
- Key support staff for manager regarding department metrics monitoring and improvement plans, business process development / enhancement, and other Supply Chain projects
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in more than one operational discipline
- Experience working in ERP & PLM systems; Oracle, SAP and Agile preferred
- Ability to learn / understand the supplier’s business and manufacturing processes, technology sourced, and product families
- Ability to concisely communicate escalations, requirements and issues to suppliers, stakeholders, peers, upper management and customers with clarity
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results driven.
- Ability to influence cross functional teams including technical decision makers
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis and negotiation.
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Work independently in fast paced environment
