Job Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Safety & PV Technology Project Manager will oversee key projects aimed at transforming pharmacovigilance (PV) operations through innovative technology, including AI and automation. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology initiatives that support our goal of touchless case processing and operational efficiency across the safety ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage PV-related technology projects from initiation through execution and closure.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
Ensure cross-functional alignment and manage communications across IT, business operations, STS, and external vendors.
Track project milestones and deliverables, proactively mitigating risks and removing roadblocks.
Represent the Technology Oversight Team in broader STS and safety governance forums.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements while implementing new tools and processes.
Support change management and user adoption activities across impacted functions.
Required Qualifications:
Should have Min 5+ Years of experience with 2-3 yrs PV experience and 2-3 years in any Project Management roles
Proven experience in project management, particularly in a cross-functional, matrixed environment. PM experience in any domain is considered
Deep understanding of pharmacovigilance and drug safety processes.
Experience managing timelines, stakeholder engagement, and reporting for complex projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
Familiarity with safety databases; Argus Safety preferred.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience working on automation or AI-based initiatives in a PV setting.
Knowledge of other PV/safety databases and platforms.
Exposure to touchless/intelligent case processing or related transformation efforts.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification (preferred but not required).
