Role Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities across the company’s properties, ensuring that facilities are fully functional, safe, and well maintained at all times. The role includes supervising the maintenance team, planning preventive and corrective maintenance, managing materials and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
- Ensure all buildings and apartments are fully operational and maintained to a high standard.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues and emergencies.
- Conduct regular inspections and identify maintenance needs or risks.
- Purchase materials, tools, and services in line with internal procedures and budgets.
- Manage inventory and liaise with external contractors when required.
- Ensure all works comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and report regularly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is preferred.
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Certification or qualification as a Plumber, Electrician, Construction Worker, or similar trade is considered a strong asset.
- Experience maintaining office buildings and residential properties is preferred.
