The remarkable achievements from this project have now sparked an increase in our maintenance demands, with our Maintenance team seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join the Terra Mining team.

We’re seeking an experienced and proactive High Voltage Electrician to support day-to-day electrical maintenance and statutory compliance across a busy mining operation. This role is critical in ensuring the safe operation of HV infrastructure, reducing downtime, and supporting a strong site safety culture.

About The Position

Working an 8&6 roster and reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, you will play a critical role in the maintenance department by ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.

Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to:

• Perform HV switching, isolations, and testing in line with site procedures and WA Mines Regulations

• Conduct maintenance, inspections, and fault-finding on HV and LV equipment, including substations, switch rooms, fixed plant and mobile equipment

• Assist with planning and execution of shutdowns, HV audits, and statutory compliance tasks

• Maintain accurate records, permits, and electrical documentation

• Support safe production by working closely with Maintenance, Operations and HSET

• Participate in site safety initiatives, risk assessments and toolbox meetings

What You Will Bring

• Experience as a HV Electrician on mining or heavy industry projects

• Current WA Electrical Licence

• Current High Voltage Switching Ticket (mandatory)

• Current First Aid, LV Rescue and CPR

• Strong experience diagnosing and fault-finding electrical breakdowns

• Strong understanding of WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022

• Ability to work independently and within a small, high-performing team

• Valid driver’s licence

• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and communication
