Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, implementation, and supervision of electrical systems across construction and engineering projects. The role involves ensuring that all electrical works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, statutory regulations, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
The Electrical Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. The position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage site activities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee, manage, and coordinate all MEP activities across ongoing and upcoming projects.
· Plan, execute, and supervise electrical installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
· Review electrical designs, shop drawings, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project and statutory requirements.
· Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, plumbing, civil, and architectural teams to ensure seamless MEP integration.
· Monitor site activities to ensure quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures are strictly followed.
· Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring proper documentation and handover.
· Liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
· Prepare and maintain technical reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
· Support procurement by identifying material requirements, evaluating technical compliance, and coordinating with suppliers.
· Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and local authority regulations.
Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.
· Minimum of 3–7 years’ relevant experience in electrical works within construction, MEP, or engineering projects.
· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, testing, and commissioning.
· Hands-on experience in supervising electrical installations at site level.
· Familiarity with local authority regulations, electrical codes, and safety standards.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
· Sound understanding of integrated MEP coordination and project execution.
· Strong problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills.
