About the Role
Are you passionate about driving reliability and asset management excellence on a global scale? Alcoa is looking for a skilled leader to join our Asset Management Centre of Excellence and help shape the future of our operations across refineries, mines, and smelters worldwide.
Key focus areas and contributions will be:
Leading the development and implementation of reliability and maintenance standards across diverse, multicultural environments.
Building strong relationships with regional/plant teams, management, and technical experts to deliver asset management objectives.
Developing and deploying innovative strategies, frameworks, and training programs that optimize asset performance and extend plant life.
Providing expert maintenance insights, supporting problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborating globally to solve challenges and deliver impactful solutions.

What you can bring to the role
Degree in Engineering is essential; postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
Demonstrated success in technical maintenance roles across diverse locations and cultures, with experience in line management and collaboration with maintenance and engineering functions.
Deep knowledge of refinery, mining, and smelting asset bases, with hands-on experience in mining, refining, and/or smelting operations (highly desirable).
Skills in developing and implementing operating and maintenance strategies and frameworks at both organisational and site levels.
Exceptional communication, consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and customers.
High energy with a detail-oriented, and systematic approach to work, ensuring consistent delivery of results in complex environments.
A flexible approach to work, including willingness to work flexible hours to engage and connect with global teams and the ability to travel locally and internationally to support site teams and program delivery.
