This role blends one-on-one coaching, financial education, community partnership development, and program accountability to support participants in achieving financial stability using the Prosperity Planning Model.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Coaching & Education

Provide one-on-one financial coaching and case management to participants, covering topics such as budgeting, credit, debt reduction, savings, and long-term financial planning.

Facilitate financial wellness workshops and group education sessions, ensuring content is accessible, practical, and participant-centered.

Maintain and deliver an up-to-date curriculum aligned with the Prosperity Planning Model and community needs.
Community Outreach & Partnerships

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, referral sources, and internal stakeholders to support participant engagement and program visibility.

Support outreach and marketing efforts to ensure a consistent pipeline of appropriate program participants.

Maintain awareness of local economic conditions and community resources to enhance participant referrals and outcomes.
Support for Vulnerable Populations

Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment when supporting participants through financial crises or barriers to employment.
Data Tracking & Program Accountability

Track participant progress, outcomes, and engagement using client information systems and required reporting tools.

Ensure accurate, timely documentation to meet program, grant, and compliance requirements, including outcome measurement and satisfaction surveys.

Prepare routine reports related to activities, outcomes, and program performance.
Compliance & Program Operations

Ensure adherence to grant requirements, fiscal standards, and applicable CARF and organizational guidelines.

Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across all program documentation.

Support program operations by ensuring materials, supplies, and reporting deadlines are met.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Competencies

Demonstrated experience providing one-on-one financial coaching or financial education to adults.

Experience facilitating financial wellness workshops or group learning sessions.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals facing financial hardship.

Experience working with community partners, referral networks, or outreach initiatives.

Ability to track participant outcomes and manage data for program or grant reporting purposes.

Knowledge of personal finance, public assistance programs, and community resources.

Effective teaching, presentation, and communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Ability to travel independently between community sites as needed.
Education & Relevant Experience

AA degree or above in social science, finance, or related disciplines, or a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing adult instruction, financial coaching, or financial education.

Experience in banking, financial services, nonprofit programming, sales, or community-based outreach is preferred.
