Role Summary
As our first dedicated HR Manager, you will build and lead the entire human resources function to support our growing professional services firm. You will be responsible for translating business objectives into impactful people strategies, from talent acquisition to employee engagement and compliance. This senior-level, full-time hybrid role is a unique opportunity to own the HR roadmap and shape a high-performance culture from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with our business goals.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent for all roles.
- Develop and administer performance management, career development, and succession planning programs.
- Lead employee relations, providing guidance and resolution for conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Serve as the primary advisor to leadership on employment law compliance, compensation, and HR best practices.
- Drive initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging organizational culture.
- Establish and manage HR systems and operations, including records management and key metrics reporting.
- Partner directly with the executive team on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
- Own the entire HR function, independently driving key projects from initial concept through to completion.
Work Setup & Collaboration
- This is a hybrid role , with a balance of in-office collaboration in Cairo, Egypt and remote work.
- You will operate with a high degree of autonomy as the sole HR leader, reporting directly to the General Manager.
- Expect to collaborate closely with all department heads to support their people-related needs and goals.
- You will build and refine HR processes in an environment that values proactive ownership and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist or Manager, with a broad scope of responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise across core HR domains: recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to advise and influence senior leadership effectively.
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills for navigating complex and sensitive employee situations independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience building an HR function from an early stage in a small or high-growth company.
- Prior experience within a professional services, consulting, or similar client-facing industry.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification.
- Hands-on experience selecting and implementing modern HRIS, ATS, or performance management platforms.
