Maintenance Supervisor

The Manufacturing Hourly Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance activities, managing a team of maintenance technicians, scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring equipment reliability to support production goals. This role reports to the Engineering/Maintenance Manager and works closely with production and safety teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
• Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production leadership to schedule repairs with minimal disruption.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance team members.
• Support capital projects and equipment installations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Some Overtime Work Required (Weekends / On-Call)

Ability to commute/relocate:

• LaGrange, GA 30240: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Supervising: 2 year (Required)
• Manufacturing Maintenance: 5+ years (Required)
