We currently have an exciting opportunity to bring onboard a Real Estate Investment Analyst to join the RLAM property team. This will be on a permanent contract and based in our London office.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide new proposition Investment Analysis, Financial Modelling and Transaction Structuring support to the Investment Director. You will work directly on the RLP Property Fund (RLPPF), currently the largest real estate fund in the UK at over £7 billion with over £5 billion of property assets, where some of the biggest deals in the UK market have been made.

As a multi-sector role, you will also have the opportunity to work with multiple teams in Property including office, industrial, retail and development teams as well as living and healthcare. Collaborating with asset managers, development managers, investment analysts, heads of sector and the portfolio fund manager.

Reporting into the RLAM Property Investment Director, this is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing department and team within Royal London Asset Management.  RLAM manages approximately £170 billion across all sectors. RLAM property accounts for c. £10 billion of the total AUM.

• Real Asset Financial Modelling Specialism and Systems
• Propose initiatives for continuous improvement of processes and procedures
• New Business Development

 

About you

 

• Previous exposure to real estate business required
• Strong knowledge of investment management, reporting, and real estate processes (valuations, DCF, financial models)
• Extensive (and junior- mid-level) investment management contacts
• Experience with Anaplan (highly desirable), Argus Enterprise, and ideally Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx
• CFA, MRICS, or ACA qualification preferred
• Strong Excel skills with an interest in financial modelling
• Effective time management and relationship-building abilities
• Professional representation of RLAM to clients and the market
