Purpose
Responsible for the process of selling and serving one or more categories of Fashion Accounts.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the pre-sale process of fashion accounts designated categories.
- Analyze the needs of the assigned client categories by store (stores may be different) and provide a suggestion for seasonal purchase.
- Offer and accomplish opportunities for prompt delivery (ReOrders and Clearance);
- Regularly visit (2-3 times a week) both clients and client stores and strategically plan the 2-year growth of the designated categories in the Strategic Account Plan.
- Understanding categories, technologies and models and presentation of products to the designated clients.
- Analyze inventory and client portfolio to track client product releases.
- Sending inventory and sale reports (sell-out);
- Lead specific sales campaigns (product and limited time) and follow the marketing campaigns together with the marketing department and the client.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Ability to serve clients to maintain an excellent relationship.
- Analytical skills to understand the market situation, client problems (low sale, high inventory, etc.) and offer alternatives and solutions to maintain sustainable growth.
- Organization and planning of tasks, visits to stores, reports and provision of information.
- Focus on sales results.
- Advanced computing knowledge (Excel and PowerPoint).
Requisite Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required in related fields such as Commercial, Business Administration, Engineering or similar.
- 2 to 4 years’ experience approx. in similar function or position as Account Manager, Sales Manager, or other Sales roles a related field.
- Previous experience in Retail Industry and wholesale clients is a must have for this role.
- Ideal to bring experience or personal interest in Fashion and Footwear industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and key stakeholders.
- Strong relationship management skills to work in a collaborative way with Marketing, Fulfillment and Regional Teams.
- Proven track record of using sales & persuasive skills.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment.
- Key scheduling skills including attention to detail, problem-solving skills, time management and adaptability to successfully plan and execute sales strategy and targets.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical analysis skills – KPI’s Management to identify and develop sales plans.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
